Who doesn't love free stuff? I am a person who loves free samples and anything free. To be honest, I am not interested in spending hours searching on the internet for the free stuff. There is a freebies and free samples finder where you can immediantly see the newest offers. Not only that you can also browse through freebies in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom. Absurdlycool.com is a very easy to navigate website and the unique thing about this website is you can rate the samples and/or freebies. The website is updated on a daily basis and also links to where the free item was found, meaning possibly more free items. Some of the items currently available are calendars, stickers, DVDs, magazine subscriptions and much more. If you love free why not check it out today! I think I will be checking it out later on today.

Play Basketball Anywhere
You know what's great about owning a portable basketball goal You can take it with you. I moved around a lot when I was a kid so we didn't have basketball unless we went to the park. We did have a hoop at one of our houses and that was fun. I had a neighbor that had a portable basketball hoop. Hey by the way if you get one for your kids and they no longer use it this will be easier to resell.

Visit Iceberg Alley
I never saw an iceberg before but I am sure it is awe-inspiring. I love anything to do with winter. I always wanted to go to Antarctica, I just don't think that will ever happen. Anyway, I read an article called Iceberg Alley, every spring ice bergs float down through the Northern Atlantic from Greenlandd, hence the name ice berg alley. Now this would be cool to see.

Road Bikes
If you are looking for a great way to exercise and enjoy scenery you might want to think about investing in road bikes. I love bike riding and when I lived in New Hampshire I used to ride my bike all the time to the next town and then come back home, I might close to eight miles round trip.

A Change is Coming
I have talked about it many times and last night I decided why not now? I bought another domain for this blog and it will be on the move. Godaddy had a sale on .info for $1.99 so I got one. What I should have done was bought this one for .99 when I got Healthy Moola. $2 is still really cheap and I like the template I found as well. Here is the web address: http://dreamsofchampagne.info/ Yee haw? I won't be updating this blog very often until I have most of the posts moved over. Then I will will do something to entercard towards the end so I can install sez who. But who really cares? As you long come and enjoy my blog where ever it may be.
Have a great day

My Favorie Fast Food Burger
There might be some people out there afraid to admit that they eat a burger at a fast food place every so often. I thought it was interesting some one wanted to know what my favorite burger was. My favorite burger of all time is from the Golden Arches and it is the Big Mac or the quarter pounder with cheese. I hate Burger King burgers but I do like the Big fish with cheese. I only eat a Burger King burger when I have little money and we are some 24 hour rest stop. Burgers from Wendy's are okay but I really like the spicy chicken sandwich.
I never had White Castle or Jack in the Box they are not around in my area. The best burgers are always found at some unknown diner tastes great with a chocolate milkshake. Thanks Dragon Blogger for the query.
Have a great night everyone!

The Valley of the Dolls
Wasn't it only a coupleof posts ago that I wrote about buying Valley of the Dolls, written by Jacqueline Susann. I couldn't stop reading it, I made time to read. In short, I loved this book. According to wiki it is a romantic novel. I don't believe this true because how can a romance novel be heart breaking and no one really winds up happy unless they are taking "those beautiful red dolls". Maybe I am wrong about romance but I thought there was to be happiness.
The story starts out in 1945 and we meet Anne, 19, who hates the town she lives in and wants to move to New York and she does against her mother's wishes. She finds a job and a room and begins her life. Now her life gets interesting as she starts to meet all sorts of Broadway stars and starlets. When she finds out the man she has a platonic relationship is a millionaire she is the spotlight. Her friends she is fiercly loyal to. The millionaire she doesn't love and doesn't want to marry him. When she meets Lyon Burke she loves and makes love to him. Her two closest friends is a young girl, Neely and Jennifer. Each girl has their own dreams and racee to the top too quick. Their lives intertwine with Anne's. All the women are desperate for love. Anne wants Lyon but he left and Neely and Jennifer just want someone to love them. The latter women become addicted to the red dolls, (sleeping pills) and with their failed love lives and career they come back to Anne. But life changes for Anne but remains loyal to her friends and Lyon. The story ends in 1965 when Anne finds solace in the same pills that ruined her friends lives.
Why don't they teach books like this in school or even college? Most of the stuff I read could be just as juicy as this novel. Anyone read A Light in August? If you have you know what I am talking about. Anyone can take this novel and rip it apart and look for symbols and metaphors and all sorts of other things that you do in college. This is a book that offers a light behind the lights of Broadway from someone who acually lived the life as a Broadway actress. The spiraling decline of age and beauty, the rush for comfort from drugs is a theme that will always be in books, and in movies as long people care about how they look and drugs are available. I know because Firefly both Carrie and Ray turn to drugs and alcohol to be normal.
If you never read Valley of the Dolls do buy a copy and read it as opposed to watching the movie.
